Quantum DLTtape IV 1/2-inch data cartridges are designed exclusively for DLT 4000, DLT 7000, and DLT 8000 tape drives, as well as DLT loaders and libraries with these drives inside.
They are made of metal particle formulation for high durability, and therefore can withstand 1,000,000 passes MTBF. These cartridges have an archival storage life of 30 years
